What a joy it was to meet this family of four! We had been corresponding for a few months so I felt like I knew this wonderful mom before our session even took place.  I was welcomed into their home on a gorgeous fall afternoon and I met the newest addition to the family, a beautiful and sweet baby girl. Soon after, their son woke from a nap and it was on! We played with trucks, in the yard and even ventured down to the neighborhood playground.  I truly could feel the love in this family and enjoyed being part of the fun they were having. Thanks for opening your home and your hearts for me.

It is always such a pleasure to work with new clients, especially ones as sweet as this mom and daughter duo.  They were playful, full of life and lots of energy. Words can't express how much this Momma means to me. She is one of my oldest friends (from the East Coast) and when I moved here (to the West Coast) she welcomed me with open arms. She is the truest definition of a "believer"...always hopeful, full of grace, and sees the good in everyone. I have been photographing her family since her little "miracles" were born and can not WAIT to join her through the journey of motherhood...(10 more weeks :) Xoxo- Kristen

I met this beautiful family of three in Balboa Park on a light filled fall afternoon. I felt an easy connection with them immediately...maybe because their precious little daughter was ALL smiles from the moment we said hello or because Dad had picked this gorgeous location (this was a first for me and he knocked it out of the park - literally!) It was a joy to find out what a small world we live in as we rattled off friends in common. It was beyond a pleasure to spend a few hours with this family and I hope we can do it again another day...Thank you for letting me capture a few moments in time for you!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I just adore this family. Period. They are loving, gentle, open and kind. I could go on and on. I'm not sure whether our similar experiences have endeared me to them or the fact that they are family with one of my best friends from college? Regardless, I don't need to know. This is my favorite time of year to photograph families. A chill in the air, golden late afternoon sun, apple trees and hay rides. But then a family like this comes along and makes it even better. They were happy, fun and absolutely gorgeous. And amazing to photograph. What a treat to spend a late fall afternoon with this special family! They were such troopers, traveling a long way to come see me, arriving as the sun was about to set. We hardly had a chance to say hello before I grabbed the three boys and ran into the fields. Thank goodness they are one of my really good friends kiddos :) This family has such a loving and fun dynamic that is hard to describe. They were playful and kind, respectful and full of laughter.
